  A tasty combination of haloumi and beef are chargrilled to perfection in a meal ready in 30 minutes.

  *This recipe is gluten-free according to industry standards

 INGREDIENTS:

  • 2 eggs

  • 3 slices halloumi

  • 3 oz fresh spinach

  • 8 cherry tomatoes cut in halves

  • 1 has avocado

  • 1 tbsp butter

  • pinch red pepper flakes

  • pinch salt

 METHOD:

  • Step 1 : Melt butter in skillet, medium temperature. Add eggs and fry to desired consistency. You can make them omelette or sunny side up, choose your desired egg type.

  • Step 2 :Once eggs are ready, remove them and plate them. Add spinach to skillet. Sprinkle with salt, let it welt on one side, flip once and remove few seconds after. It took me about a minute to cook the spinach. 

  • Step 3 : Remove spinach and place it next to the eggs in the plate. Cut halloumi cheese in slices about a finger thick, add them to skillet. Fry on each side for about 2 minutes or until golden brown.

  • Step 4 : While halloumi is getting fried, cut cherry tomatoes and avocado and place them in the plate too. Remove halloumi from skillet and add to plate.

  • Step 5 : Add salt and red pepper flakes to taste. Keep in mind that halloumi is salty before you sprinkle too much salt over the plate.
